i wish i hadn't felt pressured as a teenager to get a breast reduction. i'm 5ft2 & was a 32DDD. i felt copletely different & completely unrepresented in media & by clothing designers. i could never find anything that fit my chest and my 22 inch waist. it was honestly a nightmare getting dressed most days. i felt so judged by women and so vulnerable to men. i would get hit on by men in their 30s and older when i was 18. boys my age just stared at me. i felt like the media represented my body type with a personality and i could never be considered classy like Audrey Hepburn, but destined to be seen as Marilyn, never taken seriously or seen for my heart, mind, and beauty beyond my looks. only by a select few did i ever feel comfortable. i wish i had known about inner work back then. i wish i could go back almost every day. i didn't know being seen by a select few was God's way of guiding me and protecting me. i didn't know fashion was going to get more inclusive and i could find beautiful clothing in my personal style that flattered and supported my unique body. i wish i had known that people's judgements said more about them, and truly nothing about me. honestly, i had loved my body. the pressure and feeling of existing in the world with the way things were going got to me, though. my mother, who has a similar body to me, encouraged me to get a breast reduction. my doctor did, too. so at 19 i made the decision. at 20 it was done. i knew in the hospital i wasn't sure, i knew it when my surgeon asked me right before the procedure. i hadn't found my voice, though. i hadn't known i had a choice, that i could say no and come back another time if i was ever sure that i wanted to do it. so i didn't speak up for myself. i let them do this to me, scar me, traumatize me, change my body. i honestly think of it as an amputation now. sometimes my mind still remembers the feeling of my body before, how it was for far longer than this. the scars are faded now but they still hurt to look at. it brings back such painful memories. this is truly a lesson learned the hard way... and there was that time where i was elated with my new body, something i never thought i could have again, being so tiny all over again. there was that period you mentioned about, Alexis. but just as you said, the same feelings came back. my growth led to regret and sadness for how i had felt for so long. i always had wished for a big sister when i was growing up. perhaps if i had had one, things would be different now. certainly they would be if i had found you, if i had found anyone sharing and teaching how you do. i never had any positive role models as far as confidence in one's body. i miss myself every day. i've wondered why they never showed me pictures of scars, why they never asked me what was going on mentally, had me talk with a therapist first before such a life altering decision. but they didn't. i was led into this. for a long time i struggled feeling i had experienced a loss of my feminine power. in some ways this is true, for if i had found my feminine power fully then i certainly would not have let them do this to me. i know i hold the same feminine power now, and new knowledge, and the same protection from God. every time i look in the mirror i still hope to see my silhouette and am shocked. in pictures i feel i do look amputated to myself at some angles. in my mind i'm still the same, and God, i truly miss my body.

I don’t think moms are automatically in their feminine. As a single mom of a 3 yr old myself, I can say that going through heartbreak or dealing with a partner that doesn’t really understand what a woman goes through while & after birth and being a new mom is anything but feminine. The first 2 yrs I had postpartum depression, was heartbroken & was constantly in survival mode, stressed and overstimulated (not like it ever stops, but now I’m learning to manage it better). even many moms in relationships experience this after giving birth. Might physically seem like moms are the ultimate feminine energy, but it’s not. It depends on the mood & state of mind of the woman, if the partner is present to support her in every single way & if she is overwhelmed/overstimulated or not (which in most cases is almost during the whole day!!) From experience the only time I’m truly in my feminine mom energy is when I can fully give all of my attention and love to my baby when my endless to-do lists, house is organized & nothing overstimulating me, or if someone is over to help out or after having some me-time (which both rarely happen). I feel like women that aren’t moms, see being a mom through romantic lenses, but only moms specially single moms experiencing motherhood, know that that role is most of the times not so sweet and colorful as expected. But I can say that mindset work does wonders! But that’s a journey each mom goes through at their pace, as each mom is born at the birth of their baby too and they learn new things about themselves every single day ❤️

I have literally lost all my friends that I no longer align with and don't feel they respect me and I'm happy and content because I know this is leading to my life filled with unconditional love positivity and respect something that has lacked all my life and realised these are not my true friends, sometimes you need to destruct to construct your ideal life ❤
